My pleasure reading is usually memoirs. I am always interested in how people interact with the world around them, the world that both constrains and enables their (our) little individual lives.

Tiny Beautiful Things is a wonderful book. And Tom Lake sounds good as well. I enjoyed your newsletter yesterday, I hope others will seek you out. Keep cool! Just this morning I realized I could have made DIY lawn mister. Will make one for next year for sure.

I just finished Tiny Beautiful Things which I wrote about yesterday. Now, I’m reading Tom Lake by Ann Patchett. We also are in a heat wave this week. We have had beautiful weather all summer so I will try to remember that this week as the temps rise.
