I'm making A corset out of leather scraps. Not for me! Just because I enjoyed making corsets for my granddaughter's wedding. I think it would be cute with a quilted satin skirt, for example. If I make it, maybe someone will want to buy it. If I had to mend a bike basket, I'd for sure sew the sundress first. Because I don't know the first thing about mending a bike basket. ha.
The word bespoke is new to me and I kind of love it. I also love that you are making yourself a leather corset out of scraps. I’m trying to be a better steward of my things. I have a sewing machine but it sits in the closet. For now I’m hoping your post inspires me to mend my bike basket and then maybe I can tackle simply sewing my sundress which tore. These are simple acts but they also resist a trie away society. I hope your back feels better soon.
