For a while I lived near 2 fabric stores that were filled with decorating and quilting fabrics and little else!?!?! It made me a bit crazy. Aside from everything being so darn expensive. 🤣 I love the piece you made with the decorating fabrics! A treat to the eyes! 😃
Thank you! Yes, in the olden days fabric was less expensive than bought clothing, so it was actually cheaper to make your own. No longer! Silk velvet is now $60/yard. Linen is still relatively affordable. But no one wants clothes make from quilting cotton. Too much ironing!
